El Diablo Paradisio

This drink is a favorite of Dixie and Johnny’s that they first tasted at a beach bar in Miami. For fun, try smashing up your barware with a golf club when you’re done!

• 2 oz white tequila 

• 1 oz jalapeno tequila 

• 1.5 oz triple sec 

• 1 oz lime juice 

• 1 oz blood orange juice 

• 1 habanero 

• Salt 

Slice the habanero and use half to rim your glass. Dunk the edge of the glass in salt. Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously while singing a Gloria Estefan song of your choosing. Strain into glass; garnish with half a habanero. 

A glass shaped like a fishbowl is traditional here, but any glass you cradle desperately in your hands works.
